Weihai Pengbo (East China Heavy Industry) Production Capacity


1. Since the commissioning of the Weihai Pengbo (East China Heavy Industry) sectional fabrication plant in 2023, its average monthly production capacity has reached 3,000 tons, with ship types including high-value-added luxury ro-ro passenger ships, car carriers, asphalt carriers, MR tankers, and 89,000-ton bulk carriers.

2. Weihai Pengbo (East China Heavy Industry) outfitting component workshop has a monthly production capacity of 180 tons. The vessels produced include high-value-added luxury ro-ro passenger ships, car carriers, asphalt carriers, MR tankers, 89,000-ton bulk carriers, and heavy-lift vessels.

3. New equipment to be added in 2025: one 10-ton forklift, one 7-ton forklift, one 3.5-ton forklift, and one 270-ton flatbed truck.

Main equipment: Two 350-ton cranes for span one; one 135-ton crane for span one; four 10-ton cranes for span one; two 200-ton cranes for span two; two 20-ton cranes for span two; two 50-ton cranes for span three; two 20-ton cranes for span three.

Production lines: 3 production lines

Production Capacity: The modular production facility has a monthly capacity of 3,000 tons. Currently, it consists of three sections. The implementation plan for 2024 is as follows: Phase 1—500 tons/month (effective January 31, 2024); Phase 2—1,200 tons/month (effective April 26, 2024); Phase 3—2,400 tons/month (effective June 30, 2024). Additional capacity can be added later based on production demand.
